Reports To: Head of Data & Analytics

Department: Data & Analytics

The Role

We’re looking for a commercially minded Senior Analyst to join our Data & Analytics team and play a key role in driving our ambition as a data driven organisation. Our central D&A team is critical to the next phase of Rapha’s growth, and an area of significant planned investment.

This isn’t just about pulling data. You’ll partner with the business to uncover what matters, curate the story behind the numbers, and work across teams to help build strategies that drive growth. From providing actionable and insightful dashboards, to producing major reviews to support strategic decisions, this role has the scope to impact everything we do at Rapha.

You’ll be asking the right questions, answering them, spotting patterns, challenging assumptions, and pushing us to think differently. Not only that but you will need the experience to map these business challenges to the data, technology and processes that can help solve them. We are ambitious in our use of AI and will expect you to look for opportunities to integrate AI tools into your workflow and deliverables.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who loves cycling through data (pun intended), knows how to turn insight into action, and wants to make a real impact in a fast-moving global business, with a brand people genuinely love.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and evolve reporting across all of Rapha’s KPI’s. You will be responsible for improving our 80 Reports, 30 data models and growing our 10,000 report views a month.

  • Partner with teams across the business to enable them to enable them to monitor and drive insights from their KPIs, helping them to self serve and make data driven decisions

  • Analyse the performance of disparate areas of the business and provide accountability on KPIs

  • Support our evolution of the data platform, helping to monitor and enhance the current platform and feeding in to the requirements and development of its replacement.

  • Analyse retention and loyalty patterns across customer segments to identify drivers of repeat purchase, high-LTV behaviour, and churn risk — using this insight to shape loyalty programme strategy and CRM targeting.

  • Collaborate closely with teams across Finance, Supply Chain, Creative, and Retail to align insight with action and keep performance sharp

  • Ad-hoc support with major strategic decisions and investments across all areas of our business

  • Work closely with Digital and Tech to shape the development roadmaps and ensure that data is mastered, curated and quality controlled across all areas of the business

What You’ll Need

  • It is essential you have demonstrable business experience delivering results with Power BI therefore strong knowledge of DAX is required

  • We are also reviewing our use of Looker Studio and therefore candidates who have also used Looker and LookML will be preferred.

  • Expert level hands-on experience pulling and manipulating data using SQL or similar

  • Experience with modern cloud data platforms such as BigQuery, Fabric, Snowflake

  • Strong grasp of ETL/ELT principles, patterns and best practices

  • Understanding of data modelling, Kimball Star schema principles and how to map business processes to data architecture

  • Bonus points for proficiency in Python , particularly for data wrangling with pandas, automating workflows, or developing custom analytics scripts and models

  • Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills for quick analysis and sharing insights

  • A proactive mindset, you don’t wait to be asked, you spot what needs attention and get stuck in

  • The ability to turn complex data into clear insights and compelling stories that influence decisions

  • Commercial awareness and strategic thinking — you know when to zoom in on detail and when to pull back to the bigger picture

  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insight and communicate it clearly

  • Comfortable building reports, dashboards, and frameworks from scratch

  • Strong stakeholder skills — confident working cross-functionally and collaborating with non-data teams

  • Experience in a retail, fashion , or a consumer brand environment
