We are proud to be working with our long standing client in the recruitment of a Sales Coordinator. This exciting opportunity is available due to an internal promotion. This leading Sheffield Engineering and Manufacturing business has been a client of one of our Directors since 2006, within this time he has seen the business go from strength to strength with many past candidates still being with the company.

The successful candidates will play a key role in supporting the sales and technical teams, ensuring efficient order processing while providing excellent customer service to strengthen relationships by offering the right product solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide quotations on the current product portfolio and bespoke products
  • Process and track customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Check technical drawings and liaise with production for bespoke quotes
  • Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, face to face and video
  • Liaise with suppliers, couriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Negotiate prices with clients where needed
  • Follow up on quotations
  • Perform any associated administration tasks as and when required.

Essential:

  • Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-focused with a professional and friendly approach.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience within an Engineering/Manufacturing environment.
