We are looking for a motivated Junior QA Officer to join our growing Quality Assurance team in a GMP-compliant manufacturing facility producing botanical extracts used in pharmaceutical Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and food & beverage applications. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates in life sciences or food science to gain hands-on experience in GMP quality systems, botanical extraction manufacturing, and regulatory compliance.
Reporting to the QA Manager, you will work closely with experienced QA professionals and receive training in industry-standard quality practices.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist with review of batch manufacturing records and quality documentation
- Support GMP documentation control and SOP management
- Assist with deviations, CAPA tracking, and change control
- Participate in production line clearance and in-process quality checks
- Verify raw material documentation and Certificates of Analysis
- Support internal audits and regulatory inspections
- Help ensure compliance with cGMP, HACCP, and company quality standards
Role Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or another related life sciences discipline
- No prior industry experience required
- Internships or laboratory experience are an advantage
- Strong attention to detail
- Good documentation and organizational skills
- Interest in quality systems and regulatory compliance
- Ability to work in a regulated manufacturing environment
