Role Overview

As a Player Protection Executive you will be the first line of protection for our interactive business. Using analytical skills and available tools you will interact with customers, use open‑source information and develop a well‑rounded view of individual customers’ activity and background to support safer gambling, affordability reviews and regular review of business relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Player Protection Manager with safer gambling, verification checks and anti‑money laundering.
  • Analyse individual customer activity and background using open‑source data, transaction and gameplay analysis, and direct customer interactions.
  • Identify, act and evaluate customer activity to inform decisions in line with LCCP interaction guidance.
  • Identify customers who may have problem gambling issues or may be using illicit funds.
  • Use data to support identification of customers of concern and analyse at‑risk customers’ source of funding.
  • Liaise with the Player Protection Manager on individual cases and high‑risk customers.
  • Recommend account management actions for at‑risk customers.
  • Collaborate with digital, retail stakeholders and the High‑Value Customer team for cross‑channel customers.
  • Prepare high‑quality reports and documentation for the Player Protection Manager and stakeholders.
  • Stay up‑to‑date with relevant legislation and gambling industry requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Deliver high quality customer service.
  • Excellent oral, written and communication skills.
  • Assess and present risk assessments.
  • Hold difficult conversations with customers.
  • Work with multiple stakeholders to discuss customer histories, deliver reinstatement decisions and implement group‑wide barrings.
  • Attention to detail and ability to quickly review and assess information.
  • Clear understanding of Safer Gambling in line with UKGC licensing terms.
  • Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, accurate and precise; able to work alone or as part of a virtual team.
  • Experience in the online gambling industry desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Computer literate.
