The successful candidate will:
- Provide leadership within their specialist subject area.
- Drive curriculum development and innovation.
- Lead high-quality teaching, learning, assessment, and moderation practices.
- Support and mentor colleagues to build capability and promote excellence.
- Analyse achievement data and implement strategies to maximise student success.
- Contribute to enrichment opportunities, including scholarships, competitions, and extension programmes.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing learning culture.
- Support the academic, pastoral, and cultural wellbeing of students.
You will bring:
- Current New Zealand teacher registration and a practising certificate.
- Proven classroom excellence and a passion for your specialist subject.
- Leadership experience or demonstrated leadership potential.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum, assessment, and effective teaching practice.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and culturally responsive practice.
