Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Fire & Security Installation & Commissioning Engineer to join our team covering Greater London and the Home Counties.
About the RoleYou will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, handover, and client training of a wide range of integrated fire and security systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer who can work independently while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and customer service.
Our Core ServicesAccess ControlCCTVAudio/Video Entry SystemsIntruder AlarmsIP-Based Security SystemsFire Alarm SystemsKey ResponsibilitiesInstallation of fire and security systems from first fix through to commissioning.
Completion of second fix works, testing, commissioning, handover, and client training.
Ensure all works are delivered to relevant standards and company procedures.
Provide daily project updates to the Project Manager.
Supervise, mentor, and support apprentice engineers.
Maintain excellent customer relationships whilst on site.
Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Skills & Experience RequiredTechnical RequirementsStrong industry knowledge across integrated security systems. Basic knowledge of fire alarm systems. Experience with industry-leading products including:o Paxton Net2o Paxton10o PACo Hikvisiono Dahuao IDISo Comelito FermaxSound understanding of electrical principles.
Knowledge of relevant British and European Standards.
Ability to manage installations independently from start to completion.
Personal AttributesExcellent communication skills. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Team-oriented approach.
Self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
Confident user of Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to supervise and support junior engineers.
Capable of working autonomously and using initiative.
