Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out corrective maintenance, including fault finding, troubleshooting and achieving first-time fixes wherever possible
  • Complete remedial works and small installation tasks
  • Perform preventative maintenance across a range of systems
  • Liaise professionally with clients while on site
  • Work with monitored systems in coordination with our Alarm Receiving Centre
  • Represent Fidelity and the Ranger Group as a professional ambassador in the field
  • Complete all site and electronic documentation accurately and promptly
  • Demonstrate strong technical knowledge across all relevant disciplines
  • Participate in ongoing internal and external training covering technical, regulatory and health and safety requirements
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior engineers and apprentices
  • Take part in the out-of-hours on-call rota

Salary & Benefits

£42,000 - £46,000, depending on skills and experience

  • Company vehicle and fuel card
  • Participation in on-call rota (approx. 1 week in 6)
  • £385/week standby payment
  • £90 for travel to site and first hour on site
  • Standard overtime rate for subsequent hours
