Join CIA Fire & Security, part of The Ranger Group, which has been protecting people, property and businesses since 1982. We are looking for an ambitious Project Engineer to take ownership of exciting Fire & Security projects from design through to handover.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Own the technical delivery of projects from pre-start through to handover.
- Lead installation teams and coordinate subcontractors.
- Produce drawings, schedules, RAMS, commissioning plans and documentation.
- Drive quality, safety and compliance to NSI Gold and BAFE standards.
- Commission systems, manage client witness testing and train end users.
- Identify variations, monitor budgets and protect project margins.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders.
Systems You Will Work With:
- Fire Alarms: Advanced, Kentec, Apollo, Hochiki.
- Security: Texecom, Paxton, Hanwha, Dahua.
- Networking: IP Addressing, PoE, VLAN fundamentals and device commissioning.
What We Are Looking For:
- 3+ years in a Project Engineer or Senior Installation Engineer role.
- Strong commissioning and fault-finding experience within Fire & Security.
- Experience reading and producing technical drawings and schedules.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- ECS/CSCS card.
- FIA Units, SSSTS, IPAF and PASMA are advantageous.
