Fire Door Specialists, part of the Ranger Group, is growing fast, and we are looking for a skilled CNC Wood Machinist with a strong joinery background to help us deliver industry-leading fire door solutions.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Operating CNC woodworking machinery to produce high-quality fire-door components
  • Carrying out hands-on bench joinery work
  • Glazing, hanging doors, assembling fittings, and completing all associated joinery tasks
  • Working closely with a tight-knit production team to hit deadlines without compromising quality
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, well-organised workshop environment
  • Playing a key role in delivering products trusted across the UK construction sector

What We're Looking For:

  • Solid experience as a CNC wood machinist
  • Strong joinery background, ideally in a workshop or manufacturing setting
  • Confident with bench work, glazing, door hanging, and assembly
  • A team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to quality
  • Someone who enjoys a fast-paced, hands-on role

Hours & Pay:

  • Monday - Thursday: 7am - 4pm & Friday: 7am - 1pm - must be flexible
  • Overtime available: Time & a half & double time on Sundays
  • £16 per hour
