About the Role

Ignis Fire & Security, part of the Ranger Group, are expanding and looking for an experienced Installation & Remedial Engineer to join our Birmingham-based team. You'll cover the West Midlands, working on a wide range of fire and security systems for a well-established customer base. This is a hands-on role where you'll manage your own workload, deliver remedial works to a high standard, and ensure customers receive a first-class service.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Completing remedial works on Fire & Security systems within set timeframes
  • Liaising with customers to schedule work and provide updates
  • Installing/maintaining Fire Alarm systems, Emergency Lighting, and basic Security equipment
  • Working both independently and as part of a skilled engineering team

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong experience with Analogue Addressable & Conventional Fire Alarm systems
  • Working knowledge of Emergency Lighting maintenance/repairs
  • Basic understanding of Intruder Alarms, Access Control, Nurse Call, Disabled Refuge
  • Confident, professional, and customer-focused
  • Self-motivated with good teamwork skills
  • Driving licence + CSCS/ECS card
  • FIA qualifications (desirable but not essential)
