We are seeking a reliable and practical Property Maintenance Operative to join our clients team. This is a permanent opportunity with an initial 12-week period through our recruitment agency, acting as a probationary period before transferring to the client's payroll.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
- 35 hours per week
- Additional hours may be available during between-tenancy turnaround periods
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out routine property maintenance inspections on site
- Completing minor repairs and remedial works
- Internal and external painting and decorating
- Supporting property compliance checks and ensuring records are maintained
- Preparing properties between tenancies
- Reporting maintenance issues and recommending corrective actions
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in property maintenance, facilities management, or a similar role
- Competent in basic repairs, decorating, and general maintenance tasks
- Good attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A proactive and flexible approach to work
