What You’ll Do
- Support residents with their daily needs: feeding, personal care, companionship.
- Work with a registered nurse and other healthcare professionals as part of a team.
- Deliver personalised care tailored to individual residents’ needs.
- Support residents with PEG feeding and other nutritional needs.
- Promote dignity, independence, and choice in daily care.
- Maintain high standards of health & safety throughout the home.
- Perform regular wellbeing and safety checks.
- Assist at mealtimes—prepare snacks or provide support with feeding.
- Use manual handling equipment safely and confidently.
- Keep accurate records (daily logs, care charts, etc.).
- Build meaningful relationships with residents and team members.
Set Rota (12‑Hour Day Shifts)
08:00 – 20:00
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday.
Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
Week 3: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday.
Week 4: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Healthcare Assistant role (minimum 6 months, UK based).
- Confidence in using manual handling equipment.
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
- A positive, proactive attitude and team‑player mindset.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
- Visa sponsorship not available for this role.
