The predicted salary is between 11 - 16 £ per hour.

We are currently recruiting experienced Healthcare Assistants to join our agency team, providing essential support to care homes across the Swindon, Wiltshire area.

Shifts Available: Day shifts 07:30 - 14:30, 07:30 - 21:30, 12:30 - 21:30. Flexibility to work various shift patterns is preferred to meet the varying needs of our care home clients. Availability for last-minute shifts is highly desirable due to the nature of agency work.

You will be supporting adults who require assistance with daily living and personal care. We are looking for compassionate, dedicated individuals who are passionate about adult social care and keen to build a rewarding long-term career in the sector.

Important Information: Sponsorship is not available for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and encourage residents’ independence
  • Carry out regular safety checks to ensure residents’ wellbeing
  • Provide personal care tailored to individual needs
  • Support residents during mealtimes, including feeding and preparing light snacks
  • Safely use manual handling equipment when required
  • Complete daily documentation, including care plans, meal records, and personal care logs
  • Build positive, meaningful relationships with residents and colleagues

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 months’ UK care experience (essential)
  • Competent in the use of manual handling equipment (essential)
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills (essential)
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Positive, professional, and reliable attitude
  • Proof of right to work in the UK (essential)
