Grounds Maintenance Operative in Liverpool

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Estate Technician to join our client’s team in Kirkby, Liverpool.

This is a permanent full time role (Monday to Friday).

This hands-on role is essential in maintaining and improving outdoor communal areas and estate environments. You will play a key role in identifying repair needs and carrying out a range of maintenance and installation works across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect a company transit van and travel to various sites as required (working as part of a team, you may not be required to drive on every shift)
• Flag and report repairs and installation requirements to paths and patio areas
• Carry out cement repair works to external surfaces and structures
• Install eco drains and assist with drainage improvements where required
• Carry out fencing repairs and installation works
• Ensure outdoor areas are maintained to a high standard across multiple properties and estates
• Conduct basic machine and equipment maintenance, including cleaning equipment, performing routine checks, and arranging repairs when necessary
• Work as part of a team to ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
• Follow health and safety procedures while working across a variety of site conditions
• Some other duties may be required

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
• Experience with basic groundworks, fencing, or external maintenance works
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual duties
• Full, clean UK driving licence with experience driving a transit van
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in outdoor environments
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and problem‑solving skills
