We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Cleaner to join our client’s team in Basildon, Essex. If you take pride in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments and are comfortable working independently, this could be an ideal opportunity.
About the Role
This is a part‑time position, working 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday. You will be responsible for general cleaning duties within a community hub building. This role is vital in ensuring communal and private spaces are clean and welcoming for users of the service.
Key Responsibilities
- Mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, polishing, and wiping down surfaces
- Cleaning and maintaining entrances, hallways, function rooms, canteens and toilets
- Ensuring all spaces are tidy, safe, and free from hazards
- Adhering to Health & Safety and COSHH regulations at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Previous cleaning experience (essential)
- Strong understanding of COSHH regulations
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety practices
