Duties:
- The role is for a Lead Finance Business Partner to oversee the capital finance business partner team and take the lead on HRA capital Development & Acquisitions.
- Knowledge of capital accounting is essential for the role, alongside understanding the financial modelling for HRA Developments & Acquisitions, including the GLA grant schemes and the rent rules associated with various funding strategies for these developments.
- Leading a team of two Finance Business Partners and two Assistant Finance Business Partners, the role will support the Council with the strategic overview and direction of the capital programme for both the General Fund and HRA.
- With the Client 2025/26 to 2029/30 capital programme going to Cabinet and Client imminently, the role will be focused initially on budget monitoring for the last quarter of the year and preparing for year-end close down.
- It will be a useful asset if the candidate has worked with Oracle Fusion in the past, including the Projects module, with the Council having gone live with Oracle Fusion in May 2024.
