This specialist community school is currently seeking a SEN Trainee Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis ASAP. This role is needed due to a current member of the support team relocating to the South West. This inspiring school is a specialist local authority provision that supports 85 pupils with a Autism diagnosis and associated needs. The school supports pupils from all walks of life from the age of 4-19 years. The school offers an inclusive, safe and inviting environment where every child can achieve, succeed and break down any boundaries that they might have encountered in mainstream education. This school benefits from a long standing senior leadership team with clear vision for the future in addition the school has been recently refurbished and now offers free flowing, bright and inviting learning environments classrooms, therapy and sensory rooms. In this role as Trainee Teacher; you will be expected to provide high quality, challenging and differentiated educational activities and sensory experiences through the teaching of a broad and balanced curriculum on a 1;1 basis and in some cases in the teaching of small classrooms of learners. This is a 2 year programme where you will start as a 1:1 TA and over the 2 years develop yours skills and training to become a SEN teacher.
