We're seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support students with ASD needs in an Outstanding-rated school. Full training is provided - we're looking for individuals who are nurturing, compassionate, creative, and adaptable. - Providing teaching assistance to the teacher as defined by weekly/daily/seasonal planning.
- Working 1:1 with students.
- Providing group and/or individual activities, planned by the teacher.
- Working individually with learners/students to develop their work.
- Supporting the general well-being of learners within the school structure.
- Monitoring and evaluating student learning under the guidance of the teacher.
- Assisting teachers in using relevant management strategies to ensure a purposeful environment for teaching and learning.
- Supporting all learners in their planned, structured work in all curriculum areas.
- The ability to work with learners who have various learning difficulties.
- A willingness to learn and build relationships with learners.
- The ability to work as an individual and as part of a team.
- Flexibility in your approach to education.
- Experience working in SEND settings is desirable but not essential.
- Your own means of transport.
- GCSEs in Maths and English.
