A specialist day centre is looking for a dedicated and compassionate support worker to join one of their busy care services for young people with moderate and severe SEN and complex needs. They setting currently provides support to 50+ individuals who have a range of needs and disabilities but are united by a love of learning and education. Their mission is to help those young people make life happen which is why your role as a support worker is vital. This role is needed on a part time, permanent basis starting ASAP. This role is needed all year round, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. For the part time role you are needed a minimum 3 days a week.

Supporting with life skills
Supporting with homework/ study/ educational activities
Promoting independence amongst the people we support

Dealing with complex needs
Liaise with other agencies and families when necessary

Kind, nurturing and committed individual who is keen to support SEN learners
Experience working within the care sector ( desirable)
