As a Tenancy Support Worker, you will provide crucial assistance to individuals in Edinburgh, Midlothian, and Penicuik. Your role will involve empowering clients to sustain their tenancies through comprehensive support services. Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to individuals to help them maintain stable accommodation.
- Assist clients with housing applications, including Housing Benefit and other relevant grants.
- Support clients in setting up essential utilities such as gas and electricity.
- Deliver tenancy sustainment support to prevent homelessness and promote independent living.
- Conduct assessments and develop support plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Work collaboratively with external agencies and stakeholders to ensure holistic client support.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 6 months of previous experience supporting older adults within a care setting.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
- Access to a personal vehicle is required for community-based work.
