Shift: 4 on 4 off (7am-7pm / 7pm-7am)

Location: Static site - Watford

Salary: £46k to £49k per annum - bags of overtime available

Duties:

  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults in power and lighting circuits.
  • Reset tripped breakers and replace faulty components.
  • Respond to alarms from Building Management Systems (BMS).
  • Repair emergency lighting and battery backup systems.
  • Assist in planned power shutdowns and changeovers.
  • Conduct weekly generator load testing.
  • Inspect fuel levels and generator cooling systems.
  • Monitor and maintain UPS battery health.
  • Maintain and repair chillers, CRAC (Computer Room Air Conditioning) units, AHUs (Air Handling Units), and FCUs (Fan Coil Units).
  • Clean and replace air filters, belts, and bearings.
  • Check refrigerant levels and diagnose faults in DX (Direct Expansion) and VRV/VRF systems.
  • Monitor and maintain cooling towers and associated water treatment.
  • Inspect and maintain booster sets and sump pumps.
  • Repair leaking pipework and replace valves where necessary.
  • Maintain pressurisation units and expansion vessels.
  • Unblock drains and investigate leaks.
  • Repair faulty taps, toilets, and sinks.
  • Inspect water storage tanks and maintain Legionella compliance.

Requirements:

  • C&G 18th Edition
  • C&G / NVQ Level 3 in electrical/mechanical maintenance
  • Min. 2 years critical building maintenance experience
  • Min. 5 years building services maintenance experience
