Job title: Senior Product Manager
Location: London
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Manager to help us lead and deliver one of the most innovative projects in our portfolio: the implementation of our Making Tax Digital proposition. This initiative is in response to upcoming UK legislation in April 2026, requiring sole traders and landlords to file their taxes more frequently and directly through software solutions.
This is a pivotal moment as we aim to deliver a best-in-class solution that attracts all customers who will be in need of software that helps them manage their tax obligations. To achieve this, we need an experienced product leader with a track record of driving zero-to-one product launches and turning complex user needs into innovative and scalable solutions.
This role involves collaborating closely across product development, go-to-market, and design teams to craft and execute our proposition. Beyond product execution, the ideal candidate will lead the pilot programme with early adopters, ensuring seamless user testing and feedback integration while resolving issues alongside the product teams.
This role offers the chance to define and execute the strategy for a game-changing product proposition, directly impacting how UK customers navigate digital tax filing.
If you\\\βre customer-obsessed, thrive in collaborative environments, and have experience building transformative software and mobile app solutions, this may be the opportunity for you to make a lasting impact on the future of tax filing in the UK.

- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with product development, design, go-to-market, and scrum teams to ensure successful execution of the roadmap.
- Pilot program management: Partner with customers and agents in our early adopter program (a year ahead of legislation) to test the product, gather actionable feedback, and resolve any issues alongside the team.
- Execution at scale: Prioritise backlog tasks, manage day-to-day activities within the scrum team, and balance long-term strategic thinking with operational excellence.
- Progress updates to leadership: Regularly report on project milestones, customer insights, and progress against KPIs to senior leadership, driving alignment and accountability.
- Accounting software expertise: Leverage a background in accounting software to anticipate user needs, build workflows tailored to financial professionals, and deliver value through intuitive solutions.
Qualifications
- Proven zero-to-one product launch experience: Demonstrated ability to bring innovative solutions from concept to market while navigating ambiguity.
- Customer-focused mindset: Strong experience conducting customer interviews and leveraging insights to shape product strategy and execution.

- Expertise in delivering transformative mobile app experiences that delight and engage end users.
- Background in accounting software or financial technology is highly preferred.
- Skilled at cross-team collaboration: Proven ability to coordinate and align efforts across product, design, engineering, and go-to-market teams.
