About the Role

Our client is a large accounting, tax, and audit consultancy firm with multiple locations across Ireland. They are expanding and looking to hire a Part/Recently Qualified Accountant based in Portlaoise. This is a hybrid role offering a market-leading salary, pension, and excellent opportunities for growth and career development.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Preparation of accounts and financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and larger clients.
  2. Preparation and review of income tax and corporation tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  3. Managing a diverse client portfolio across various industries, providing expert financial guidance.

Key Requirements:

  1. Recently qualified or finalist accountant pursuing a professional accountancy qualification recognized in Ireland (ACCA/CPA/ACA, etc.).
  2. Minimum of one year\’s experience working in an Irish accountancy practice.
  3. Experience in preparing corporate and personal tax computations for clients.
