Overview
In this role you will oversee the technical, structural, and MEP aspects of high-density new build residential developments. You’ll ensure design compliance, resolve on-site queries, and manage sub-contractor delivery to achieve quality, safety, and regulatory sign-off. You will work closely with the project team to maintain build quality and drive successful handovers to tenants and buyers. This position offers the opportunity to shape the delivery of large residential schemes within a safety‑conscious, quality‑driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Technical & site coordination: review drawings, manage RFIs and TQs, and resolve design clashes before installation
- Build quality & QA/QC: enforce inspections across groundworks, superstructure, envelope, and MEP to achieve statutory compliance
- Package & sub-contractor management: coordinate engineering sub-contractors, manage technical submittals, verify material/plant specifications
- Testing & handover: oversee testing, commissioning, and snagging for practical completion and smooth handover
- Health, safety & environment: ensure works comply with site safety plans, CDM regulations, and RAMS
Key requirements
- 3+ years as a Project Engineer / Site Engineer on medium-to-large-scale new build residential schemes
