Overview
In this M&E Supervisor role, you will oversee day-to-day estate upkeep at a flagship, high-spec facility in North London. You’ll balance operations supervision with technical compliance, leading the fabric team, water systems oversight, and third-party partners. You’ll act as the main operational interface for client stakeholders and support 24/7 on-call readiness. This position emphasizes safety, reliability, and timely maintenance to meet SLAs and KPIs, with opportunities to influence site-wide performance and governance.

Responsibilities
- Supervise internal fabric maintenance technicians and third-party contractors to meet high standards of craftsmanship and safety
- Oversee water management systems and water hygiene regimes for statutory compliance
- Plan, coordinate, and allocate PPMs and reactive tasks to satisfy SLAs and KPIs
- Monitor team performance, timekeeping, attendance, and support training and investigations
- Operate CAFM/CMMS to log tasks, asset histories, and compliance documentation
- Prepare RAMS, review RAMS, and uphold proactive safety culture across assigned areas
- Serve as a visible client contact and address operational queries promptly
- Support 24-hour on-call escalation rota including out-of-hours emergencies
Key requirements
- Proven supervisory background in facilities maintenance
- Experience in planning, scheduling, and quality auditing maintenance programmes
- Competence in RAMS creation and statutory building compliance
- Systems literacy with CAFM/CMMS and standard office software
- Professional communication skills for client and internal stakeholder interactions
- Willingness to participate in a 24-hour on-call standby rota
