Randstad has an opportunity available for an experienced Chef to join the team at Belfast Metropolitan College. Based in Magheraberry Prison within the Belfast Met Prison Education setting, we are recruiting a Hospitality and Catering Trainer Assessor to support the catering and hospitality skills development programme.

Requirements:
- Hold a relevant vocational qualification (Level 3 or above) within a Hospitality or catering based role
- Candidates with a recognised assessor qualification in place would be at an advantage
- Demonstrable experience of training and assessing within Hospitality and Catering
- Experience of identifying, developing and sharing innovative and creative teaching resources
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
- Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting / compliance checks including an Enhanced Access NI check due to the nature of this work, this may include a Barred List check for both Children & Vulnerable Adults (depending on the role)
Responsibilities:
- To train and assess learners on Hospitality and Catering programmes
- To deliver engaging and innovative teaching and training sessions
- To monitor, review and track learner progress against planned targets, providing regular feedback and support to ensure achievement
- To develop and utilise creative teaching resources that enhance the learning experience
- To maintain accurate and up-to-date learner records
- To effectively prepare learners for formal assessments, examinations or end-point assessments
