Shifts: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Salary: Circa £75,000 - £80,000 per annum + 20% Annual Bonus + Private Medical

Our client is a national leader in energy recovery and an ethical firm dedicated to renewable energy solutions. This state-of-the-art Energy Recovery Facility (ERF) processes over 300,000 tonnes of waste annually, generating power for 60,000 homes.

As the Engineering & Maintenance Manager, you will lead all engineering aspects at the facility. Your goal is to ensure optimal long-term plant availability, preserve asset value, and maintain strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Departmental Leadership: Provide day-to-day management of the Engineering & Maintenance team, including direct reports (Mechanical, EC&I, and Business Support) and indirect staff.
  • Maintenance Strategy: Responsible for the efficient planning and execution of all maintenance activities, including planned shutdowns and reactive repairs.
  • Asset Management: Utilise the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to its full potential to deliver a robust asset management system.
  • Financial Accountability: Manage departmental OPEX and lifecycle CAPEX budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities while meeting financial targets.
  • Safety & Compliance: Control a Safe System of Working and ensure all safety regulations are adhered to.
