Job Purpose:
To support the efficient running of council buildings by providing caretaking, security, post room, courier, and general facilities services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Open and secure buildings, manage alarms, and respond to call-outs.
- Operate building systems (heating, lighting, alarms) and report faults.
- Handle internal mail and deliveries; assist with post room and courier duties.
- Set up rooms for meetings/events and support building cleanliness and upkeep.
- Perform basic admin tasks and vehicle checks; maintain safe working practices.
