About the Role:
Randstad is looking for an experienced and proactive Executive Assistant to support a senior executive within the General Management team of a leading company in the FMCG sector. The position is based in London, UK, and plays a vital role in ensuring the executive’s daily activities run efficiently and effectively.
The role requires a high level of professionalism, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate with senior stakeholders across multiple geographies. While the primary focus is on supporting one senior executive, there may be occasional support required for other members of the leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a dynamic calendar, scheduling meetings, events, and appointments across time zones.
- Organize domestic and international travel and logistics, including accommodation and ground transport.
- Coordinate internal meetings, workshops, and leadership events.
- Prepare presentations, meeting materials, and follow-ups.
- Handle expense reporting, invoice payments, and purchase orders through internal systems.
- Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders at senior levels.
- Proactively support the executive in day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth workflow.
- Provide occasional administrative support to other members of the team when needed.
Required Experience and Attributes:
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant supporting senior leadership, ideally in an international organization.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with strong attention to detail.
- High degree of discretion, maturity, and professionalism.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage senior-level interactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with procurement/finance tools such as Coupa.
- Ability to work from the office regularly, especially when the executive is present (typically 3–4 days per week).
