Are you a confident Employee Relations professional who thrives on resolving complex issues, influencing change, and creating fair, positive workplace cultures? We’re looking for a Regional Employee Relations Advisor to join our team and play a key role in shaping employee experiences across multiple Midlands locations.
In this role, you’ll deliver expert employee and labour relations support, ensuring best practice, legal compliance, and a consistent, people-first approach. You’ll work with minimal supervision, handling complex cases, advising leaders, and helping drive a culture built on fairness, wellbeing, and trust.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Act as a trusted advisor on complex employee and labour relations matters
- Interpret employment law and best practice, providing clear, practical guidance
- Ensure consistent application of policies across your region
- Investigate and resolve complaints, grievances, and conflicts fairly and promptly
- Ensure all actions align with legal requirements and internal policies
- Lead and Oversee Investigations
- Review investigations into potential legal or regulatory breaches
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation
- Drive Compliance & Risk Mitigation
- Identify risks and work proactively with HR and Legal to address them
- Support audits, compliance reviews, and reporting requirements
- Design and deliver training on employee relations, policies, and compliance topics
- Support managers and HR teams to build confidence and capability
- Contribute to the creation and review of ER policies and procedures
- Ensure alignment with legislation and industry best practice
- Support collective bargaining negotiations
- Advise on union engagement, works council processes, and organisational change
- Provide expert guidance on separation processes and legislation
- Support severance calculations, documentation, and best practice exits
What We’re Looking For
You’ll be an experienced ER professional who can confidently navigate complex and sensitive situations, build strong relationships, and provide commercially sound advice. You’ll be comfortable working across multiple sites and engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
