Requirements
- A degree, HNC/HND, or NVQ Level 3 in a relevant care-related subject
- 1-3 years of experience working with young people in a residential setting (depending on your qualification)
- NISCC registration
- Must be able to work night shifts
- Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting / compliance checks including an Enhanced Access NI check due to the nature of this work, this may include a Barred List check for both Children & Vulnerable Adults (depending on the role)
- Up to date Immunisation records to complete a full occupational health review
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective time management and prioritisation skills
- Ability to work in fast paced user-centric environment
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day care and support to young people aged 14-17, helping them work through challenges related to trauma and anxiety.
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with legislation and trust policies.
- Participate in a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with social workers and other professionals to create and implement care plans.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of young people, managing crises and maintaining environmental safety.
- Model best practice and uphold the highest standards of care.
- Support and mentor young people to promote their personal growth and development.
