We pride ourselves on driving impactful, tech-enabled outcomes for our teams, partners, and clients within a forward-thinking, collaborative culture.

The Opportunity

We have an exceptional opening for a versatile, proactive IT Project Manager to join our established IT delivery team at our Coventry head office.

In this role, you will lead mid-to-large scale technical programmes and projects end-to-end. You'll partner closely with a talented, multidisciplinary group of IT professionals—including Business Analysts, Project Managers, Engineers, and Developers—while actively guiding and mentoring fellow team members.

We are looking for a true generalist IT Project Manager who is pragmatic, isn't afraid to "roll up their sleeves," and brings positive energy and strong leadership to a hard-working, fun environment!

  • Delivery Leadership & Mentorship: Guide, advise, and support peer PMs and technical teams across medium to large-scale initiatives.
  • High-Touch Stakeholder Management: Build trusted relationships with business leaders, cross-functional teams, and external technology vendors.
  • Business Cases & Scoping: Collaborate with stakeholders to craft solid project briefs, PIDs, scopes, budget proposals, and tangible benefit tracking.
  • Governance & PMO Health: Drive projects through established PMO frameworks, producing clear governance documentation and presenting transparent project health reporting to boards.
  • Delivery Methodologies: Confidently select and execute the right framework (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) across the entire project lifecycle.
  • Planning & Resourcing: Manage schedules, critical paths, dependency maps, and resource allocations to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Risk & Change Control: Proactively identify project risks, unblock delivery bottlenecks, and manage change requests across scope, schedule, and spend.
  • Testing & Handover: Oversee testing plans, quality gates, and sign-offs to guarantee a smooth transition into live operational support.
  • Continuous Improvement: Facilitate post-implementation reviews and lessons-learned sessions to continuously improve delivery playbooks.
  • 5+ Years of PM Experience: Proven track record delivering mid-to-large scale IT, technology, and business improvement projects end-to-end.
  • Open Industry Background: We welcome talent from any sector—financial services, retail, tech, logistics, manufacturing, or built environment.
  • Broad Technical Acumen: Comfortable navigating software delivery, infrastructure, applications, and general systems integration alongside technical specialists and BAs.
  • Recognised PM Credentials: Certified in PRINCE2, APM, or equivalent project delivery methodologies.
  • Tool Proficiency: Solid experience working with Microsoft Project, Planner, Azure DevOps, or similar work-management tools.
  • Pragmatic, Collaborative Style: A roll-up-your-sleeves mentality, calm composure under pressure, and a natural ability to connect with and motivate teams.
  • Stakeholder Influence: Polished, persuasive communicator capable of translating technical concepts into business value.
  • Bonus / Nice-to-Haves: Exposure to the Data & AI landscape, or prior experience with Common Data Environments (CDE) and infrastructure projects (desirable, but not mandatory).
  • Timeline: Interviews commencing from 11th November.
  • Stage 1 (1 hour): Technical & competency-based interview focusing on your IT project delivery experience and methodology.
  • Stage 2 (30 mins): Informal conversation with a senior leader to discuss culture, team fit, and overall vision.
