Are you an experienced and commercially astute Contract Manager with a deep understanding of the water treatment industry? Do you thrive on leading complex projects and ensuring their commercial success? Our client, an international contractor within the water infrastructure sector, is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Contract Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a pivotal role working on a flagship water treatment project within the Thames Water region, a project critical to providing clean and reliable water to millions.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end commercial management of this high-profile water treatment project. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Extensive contract negotiation and administration: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Commercial oversight and risk management: Identifying and mitigating commercial risks, ensuring project profitability, and managing variations and claims.
- Stakeholder management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients (Thames Water), subcontractors, internal teams, and other key stakeholders.
- Financial reporting and forecasting: Providing accurate financial reports, forecasts, and commercial insights to senior management.
- Compliance: Ensuring adherence to all contractual obligations, legal requirements, and company policies.
Working closely with project delivery teams, engineering, and finance to ensure seamless project execution. Extensive experience in water treatment projects is essential.
