Role Overview
We are seeking a high-caliber Senior HR Technology HCM Specialist to join our team immediately. Reporting directly to the Director of HR Technology Service Delivery & Global HCM Product Owner, you will provide expert support during a critical transformation programme. This role serves as the functional lead and first point of contact for global HR Tech queries across all business levels.
What You Will Be Doing
- Transformation & Enhancements: Contribute to a critical transformation programme, delivering key Workday HCM changes and enhancements in the short term.
- Service Delivery: Act as the first point of contact for global HCM queries, managing cases within agreed SLAs and escalating to the Global Product Owner when necessary.
- Projects & UAT: Act as Functional Lead for small HR projects. Organize, coordinate, and write testing scenarios for UAT rounds, troubleshooting issues to full resolution.
- Release Management: Coordinate Workday's bi-annual releases and manage mass data uploads.
- Requirements Gathering: Partner closely with end-users and global HR teams to gather and document business requirements following Workday best practices.
- Change Management: Ensure smooth implementation of new solutions with rigorous change management practices and clear communication.
What You Need to Be Successful
- Workday Expertise: Strong functional knowledge of Workday HCM and Security configuration.
- Global Project Experience: Proven track record working with global HR teams, understanding global HR processes, and navigating data privacy regulations across multiple markets.
- Testing & Tools: Deep experience in writing test scenarios, managing UAT rounds, and handling mass data management.
- Workday Extend (Desirable): Experience or knowledge of Workday Extend is a massive plus!
- Mindset: Exceptional organisational skills, the ability to manage a busy caseload, and a passion for process/service improvement.
