Business Analyst (I) | Strategic Finance & Growth

Location: London (Hybrid: 3 days/week in Kings Cross)

Duration: 6-Month Contract | Start: ASAP

Ever wondered what drives monetization and growth for one of the world's largest digital streaming and media platforms?

We are looking for a sharp, commercially-minded Business Analyst to step into an high-impact internal consulting unit. You won't just be pumping out reports; you'll dive into massive datasets, model unit economics, and pitch growth strategies directly to executive product and business leads.

What You'll Do:

  • Decode the Data: Query large, complex uncleaned datasets using advanced SQL to track user engagement, creator payouts, and subscription revenue.
  • Build Financial Models: Run bottom-up market sizing, revenue forecasts, and trade-off analyses to back up high-stakes product investments.
  • Design & Experiment: Leverage A/B testing and statistical models to evaluate new product launches and monetization models.
  • Drive Strategy: Turn millions of data rows into a 3-bullet executive pitch that answers what happened, why it matters, and what to do next.

What You Bring:

  • Background: 2-4 years in strategy consulting, tech/media bizops, or corporate finance analytics.
  • Hard Skills: Expert-level SQL (CTEs, window functions, conditional aggregations), strong financial modeling (Excel/Sheets), and executive dashboarding (Looker/Tableau).
  • Mindset: Top-notch structured problem-solving, A/B testing fluency, and the consultative edge to translate complex data for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Education: Degree in a Quantitative, Business, or STEM field.
