Randstad Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic Club Managers to work around the Braintree area to take care of lovely little children before and after school hours. You'll deliver genuine, heartfelt experiences to our people and our little people by ensuring they experience fun, engaging and creative activities, in a safe and inclusive environment.

The roles are based at several Primary school locations around the Braintree area, and the hours involved are 7:15am to 8:30am in the morning, and then 3pm to 6pm in the afternoon, Monday to Friday. There are both long term roles and short term, casual days available, so if you are interested in either, please do not hesitate to get in touch!

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for assisting to manage clubs.
  • Supporting the General Manager and team members within that site and ensuring the smooth running of the provision.
  • You will be responsible for the planning and delivery of a wide range of activities that children are interested in.
  • Provide regular progress updates to the class teacher and maintain records.

Requirements:

  • Must have experience of working with 4-11 year olds.
  • Should have an appropriate Level 3 qualification (childcare, sports coaching, education etc).
  • Experience in managing small teams and demonstrating leadership and the ability to work with own initiative.
  • Possess a desire to create meaningful moments for children/people in your charge.
  • Problem-solving skills and a patient demeanor are highly valued in this role.
  • Ability to speak eloquently and should be able to communicate with all levels and explain about anything to anyone.
  • A basic knowledge of IT is beneficial as registers and schedules are on iPad/laptop.
  • Paediatric first aid qualifications would be highly desirable but not essential.
