Randstad has an opportunity available within the Economic Development team at Belfast Metropolitan College for a business development executive that will focus on growth within the Advance Engineering, Aerospace and High-spec manufacturing sectors.

Requirements

  • Hold a degree (Level 6) or equivalent qualification
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working in a business development or project management focusing on Advanced Engineering, Aerospace, High-Spec Manufacturing or Green skills
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience with Business Development for SMEs
  • Demonstrable experience in recruiting businesses, individuals or stakeholders onto a programme/project.
  • Demonstrable experience in innovation
  • Excellent communication and IT skills
  • Enhanced vetting will be required before commencement in this role including Access NI

Responsibilities

  • Provide end to end business development support
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Coordinate engagement activities to maximise skills programmes
  • Collaborate with other departments including marketing to ensure programme success
  • Maintain and develop new systems and processes to ensure success
  • Performance management and continuous improvement
  • Develop and strengthen partnerships with internal and external partners
