A Civil Project Manager is needed for a leading infrastructure organization. The Senior Project Manager will serve as the primary representative overseeing the engineering and construction for critical heavy civil, structural works, and related capital projects. The Senior PM will lead strategic infrastructure initiatives, ensuring all construction management activities prioritise safety, operational competitiveness, and technical excellence. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between design alternatives and the successful delivery of complex port facilities.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and a valid Professional Engineer (PE) license. We require at least 5+ years of related experience in heavy civil construction and a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC). The ideal applicant demonstrates expert-level ability in managing multimillion-dollar budgets and high-stakes project schedules. Some regional travel may be required for qualified candidates. Relocation will be considered for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Act as the Owner's Representative to manage heavy civil and structural field operations, including the coordination of all materials and equipment.
- Gather technical requirements to define project scope and evaluate design alternatives that maximise long-term terminal competitiveness.
- Ensure all engineering targets are met while keeping projects strictly within established budgets and timelines.
- Proactively identify and communicate potential project risks to stakeholders, providing data-driven solutions to protect cost and schedule integrity.
- Partner with internal operations teams to ensure new infrastructure meets business case goals and facilitates safe, reliable port activities.
- Foster a team-based culture through continuous self-development and by mentoring staff to meet the evolving needs.
