This Credit Controller position is based onsite in Ware and offers the chance to join a small, supportive Credit Control team within a business committed to sustainability and customer care.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Managing sensitive yet direct conversations by phone to chase outstanding debt professionally.
- Investigating customer accounts to proactively resolve complex billing queries and issues.
- Helping customers better understand and manage their energy accounts to prevent future debt.
- Setting up realistic payment plans and Direct Debits for both ongoing usage and arrears.
- Liaising closely with internal teams, providing regular updates, and reporting on portfolio performance.
