Your Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant
Guide pupils 1:1 or in small focus groups to accelerate reading, writing, and maths progress.
Support students with additional educational needs (SEN) to promote full classroom inclusion.
Assist class teachers with lesson resource preparation, display work, and classroom setup.
Foster a positive, encouraging environment that builds pupils' confidence and independence.
Supervise group activities, break times, and school trips ensuring child safety at all times.
Share constructive feedback with teachers regarding pupil engagement and milestone achievements.
Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or substantial primary school experience).
Proven experience supporting primary-aged pupils.
Strong communication skills and confident, positive behaviour management.
An enthusiastic, adaptable, and proactive approach in the classroom.
An Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to process one with us).
