Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Supporting the Preconstruction team during the tender process
- Working with the Design team to identify opportunities and manage risk
- Overseeing all commercial aspects of live projects
- Day-to-day tasks include:
- Procuring and letting subcontractor packages
- Preparing and managing CVRs
- Approving subcontractor payments
- Managing final accounts
- Collaborating with Buyers and Site Managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and snag-free
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records throughout
What They’re Looking For:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role
- Experience with both new build and refurbishment projects up to £20M
- Confident in take-offs and re-measures
- Passionate about construction with a desire to learn and progress
- Previous experience working for a main contractor preferred
