Randstad UK is recruiting for a Salesforce Developer on behalf of our client, Holcim UK. This role is ideal for someone with strong development skills, experience in Salesforce customizations, and a passion for innovation in digital transformation.
Role: Salesforce Developer
Location: Bardon Hill, UK (Hybrid – 2 days in office per week, flexible)
Rate: £35.90 - £41.00 per hour (equivalent to £70,000 - £80,000 per annum)
Contract length: Fixed-term contract
Shift Patterns: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (37.5 hours per week)
Responsibilities:
- Develop, configure, and customize Salesforce applications to align with business requirements.
- Design and implement scalable solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce.
- Integrate Salesforce with third-party applications and internal systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to define and refine technical requirements.
- Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment of Salesforce solutions.
- Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and provide ongoing support.
- Stay up to date with Salesforce releases and new functionalities to drive continuous improvement.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer, with expertise in Apex, Lightning Components, and Visualforce.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce CRM architecture, data modeling, and security best practices.
- Experience with Salesforce automation tools (Flow, Process Builder, Workflow Rules).
- Knowledge of integration techniques using APIs and middleware tools.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Platform Developer I/II) are highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
