We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistant to join our team. Your role will be essential in supporting classroom teachers, assisting student learning, and maintaining a positive environment across local secondary schools.

Responsibilities
- Assisting subject teachers with lesson preparation, classroom setups, and learning activities
- Create a supportive learning environment where secondary pupils feel confident to participate
- Provide targeted reading, writing, or math support to small groups of students
- Ability to communicate with and encourage children with diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to maintain consistent classroom management
- Assist with general supervision during break times or school events
- Encourage positive behavior and student engagement throughout the school day
Requirements
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or relevant secondary support experience) with references
- An enhanced child DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
- Right to work in the UK - Essential (sponsorship is not available with this role)
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills to support secondary curriculum work
- Being passionate about helping young people achieve their full potential
