We are exclusively partnering a life sciences client to provide an experienced Scientific Proposal Writer for a global organisation that supports industries with a comprehensive portfolio that spans the entire development lifecycle—from discovery to commercial release.
As the primary architect of technical bids, you will lead the proposal journey for high-value biopharmaceutical projects. You won’t just be drafting documents; you will be a strategic partner to global clients, transforming their complex challenges into tailored, executable project plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define the technical scope of RFPs and RFQs, specifically regarding needs across different development phases.
- Evaluate and prepare the technical aspects of bids, ensuring all scientific and operational inputs align seamlessly.
- Engage directly with customers to uncover unique goals and challenges, providing a high-touch, tailored experience for major accounts.
- Coordinate the pricing and planning of large-scale projects, leveraging financial and organizational skills alongside your scientific expertise.
- Improve the speed and consistency of the bidding process by developing core templates and standardised approaches.
Profile:
- PhD, Masters, or BSc in Life Sciences (preferred)
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a Life Science organisation, CRO, or CDMO environment
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a global organisation, gathering input from SMEs and lab operations to drive decisions.
- A keen awareness of the commercial landscape with a focus on efficiency and revenue growth.
- Excellent written skills for creating technical proposals and the verbal confidence to lead client discussions.
