Benefits Competitive pay rate £11.67 per hour Overtime premium rates apply Mileage allowance as required Enhanced holiday package & pension Fully funded, ongoing training & development opportunities Weekly pay Free training provided inclusive of E-Learning and face-to-face Short and long-term contracts available Free uniform Employee Assistance Programme Access to high street, retail and leisure discounts Requirements 5 GCSEs (Grade A-C) or equivalent, one of which should be in English or relevant NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care Minimum 1 year paid or voluntary experience of working in a Health Care or Education setting Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting including an enhanced Access NI check and compliance due to the nature of this work Up to date Immunisation records to complete a full occupational health review Ability to build rapport with ease Strong communication and interpersonal skills Effective time management and prioritisation skills Ability to work in fast paced user-centric environment Responsibilities To maintain a caseload of allocated clients, prioritising (where appropriate) and reporting activity and changes to the occupational therapist To conduct initial interviews with clients and/or next of kin, gathering details and information about the client Where appropriate, to accompany therapists on home risk assessment visits. To ensure the safe and competent use of assistive/adaptive equipment Deliver a service, which meets all organisational and professional responsibilities Prepare/present appropriate specialist professional reports as required Communicate effectively with patients and ensure there is an understanding of their condition Promote and support effective team working, fostering a culture of openness and transparency Support the service's leadership team Maintain a high level of safety to ensure all service users are kept safe Randstad Care acts as an employment business when supplying temporary staff and as an employment agency when introducing candidates for permanent employment with a client.
