Biowearable technology is set to digitise, decentralise, and democratise healthcare, enabling consumers to take control of their health.

The Role & Environment

We are seeking a Retail Marketing Manager to be a driver in developing growth strategies, in partnership with retail and other third-party channels. Reporting to the UK Marketing Lead, this role will bring retail know-how to a growing team and directly manage, plan, and implement marketing strategies with a growing list of partners. The division operates with a fast-paced, start-up mentality, requiring a "scrappy" and flexible mindset to unlock growth. To be successful in this role, you must enjoy developing in-store experiences, co-marketing strategies, and promotional plans that drive product adoption in store and online. This role will collaborate with Brand Marketing and DTC teams, while also being a conduit and hub to partner teams.

Business Growth: Own and deliver the implementation of channel and customer-specific Retail Marketing Strategy aligned to the broader business objectives in the UK. This includes driving expansion plans for existing business in major retail and pharmacy outlets.

Strategic Planning: Develop Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with retailers to unlock category and brand growth, co-marketing and promotional expertise, managing and optimising opportunities that lead to mutual business value and stronger partnerships.

Commercial Drive: Work closely with the Retail Sales Lead to ensure commercial thinking is at the heart of business plans, focusing specifically on driving growth and hitting ROI targets.

Brand & Product Champion: Champion the brand, ensuring communication is consistent and supporting brand strategy. Address purchase drivers and barriers through physical and digital experiences that elevate product truths. Collaborate with regulatory and medical affairs teams to ensure product accuracy throughout partner activations. Work with insights and analytics teams to understand the path-to-purchase and user experience, uncovering insights that drive growth in the UK retail landscape.

Analytics & Performance: Monitor and analyse the performance of promotions. You will be responsible for analysing data bought through retailers or 3rd party sources, providing insights and recommendations for improvement to key stakeholders. Manage and coordinate marketing retail budgets, influence investment, aligning closely with the UK Marketing Lead and Finance.

Education: Min Bachelors Degree (or equivalent combination of education and work experience).

Experience: Experience in consumer electronics and/or consumer goods / consumer healthcare categories sold in retail. E-commerce experience is highly ideal. Understanding of marketing and selling under MDR regulations.

Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and customer mindset; experience delivering measurable, multi-channel, growth strategies. A flexible mindset with the willingness to roll up sleeves, troubleshoot problems, and drive to aligned solutions.

Hybrid Working: The team values collaboration and currently operates with a flexible hybrid model, typically requiring presence in the office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Duration: This is a 6-month contract as a starting point, with the potential to evolve into a permanent role.
