Are you an experienced and creative events professional with a flair for execution? We are looking for a Creative Events Manager/Executive to support Oracle’s Cloud and AI solutions events across all lines of business and addressing all segments. This role is a fantastic opportunity to join a truly integrated marketing team and make a direct impact on our business growth.
You will be working on a variety of events, with a strong focus on event marketing strategies to attract and acquire new customers, as well as engaging with and building relationships with existing ones. The right candidate will demonstrate the ability to further establish the Oracle brand and to generate the levels of attendance and engagement needed to support required sales leads and pipeline goals.
Responsibilities- Plan, manage and execute or guide the execution of measurable, integrated event marketing.
- Support standardisation, optimisation and productivity improvements across all elements of event delivery.
- Act as a key connection to the Field Marketing Team within Oracle whilst being part of the EMEA Events Team to create the events that contribute to the overall success of the business.
- Monitor, analyse and suggest event execution improvements to drive cycles of continuous event improvement.
We are looking for an experienced event execution professional, preferably from a large, complex organisation.
Qualifications- Strong knowledge of event execution and event project management.
- Highly capable communicator, able to manage internal stakeholder groups and deal with diverse opinions to still move projects to completion.
- Strong business acumen, analytical competency and influencing skills.
- Strong project planning and execution skills, with a strong sense of project ownership and ability to anticipate possible roadblocks and provide viable solutions.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, multitask and manage time effectively, and keep schedules and projects in order and up to speed.
- Experience of using current marketing and sales processes and systems, with preferred experience with Eloqua and event automation solutions.
- Experience of working with third-party suppliers and managing and motivating agencies to push creative barriers in communicating with customers.
- Excellent budget and project management skills.
- Excellent writing, editing and communication skills.
- Enthusiastic, open, flexible and extravert personality with a strong drive and proven ability to perform in a high-paced environment.
- Fluency in English.
- Sales, Marketing or Business education.
