Our client is a leading global technology company looking for a Benefits Specialist to join their team on a contract basis until June 2027. This role operates on a hybrid working schedule (3 days onsite in London, 2 days remote) following normal UK working hours.
As a Benefits Specialist, you set the strategic direction and drive outcomes for high-visibility benefit programs with high dollar spend and multiple stakeholders. You continually evaluate benefit programs to ensure they are legally compliant, competitive, aligned with the overall benefits philosophy, and drive measurable change and appropriate outcomes, developing long-term solutions with foresight to anticipate and address current and future issues. You ensure that they are legally compliant, competitive, aligned with our overall total rewards strategy, and produce effective results for our ability to attract and retain top talent. You act as a subject-matter expert, representing benefits plan administration, exerting influence without authority, and coaching or mentoring junior members of the team.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the creation of benefit programs, including all associated program management tasks (e.g., business case, budget, Vendor Security Audits).
- Participate in a variety of benefits surveys and build internal competitive data to provide market-driven insights and strengthen our benefit programs.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory best practices and relevant government regulations.
- Drive the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of company benefits programs (e.g., including time-off plans, retirement plans, healthcare and life insurance coverage, and wellness and health education) by integrating feedback and gaining alignment.
- Drive the auditing and review of all benefits enrollments and processes to ensure accuracy of the benefit programs and drive business outcomes.
- Participate in the development of benefits strategy and drive initiatives, launching and iterating initiatives to strive toward business outcomes, identifying needs and integrating feedback from client organisations.
- Develop compelling communication programs to ensure employees have a clear understanding of the company's benefits and wellness offerings to drive employee participation.
