Our client is for a Finance Manager who can do more than just report the numbers. We want someone who is comfortable managing month-end, understands financial planning and analysis, and is genuinely interested in how technology, automation and AI can improve the way a finance team operates.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of our monthly reporting while playing an important role in modernising our finance processes and systems.
What you'll be doing
- Month-end & reporting: Take ownership of the month-end close and management reporting pack, ensuring accurate and timely financial information.
- FP&A & commercial analysis: Support budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and performance analysis to help the business make better decisions.
- Systems improvement: Help develop and optimise Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, improving the quality and accessibility of financial data.
- Business partnering: Work closely with our commercial, operational and leadership teams to provide meaningful financial insight.
- Team development: Support and develop colleagues within the finance team, sharing knowledge and improving the way we work.
You'll ideally bring:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification
- Strong experience managing month-end and preparing management accounts.
- FP&A experience, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial modelling.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial data.
- Experience using ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Knowledge of Power BI or similar reporting tools.
- Experience improving processes through automation and using AI tools to solve real business problems.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with stakeholders across different functions.
