Graduate / Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Construction

With a strong reputation in the care, residential, and education sectors, our client is growing fast — and they’re looking to bring on board a motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support a major development based in East Kent. Hands-On Project Experience – Gain exposure to large-scale, impactful projects from day one. Assist in the preparation of valuations, cost reports, and financial documentation. Support with procurement of subcontractors and supplier packages. Help manage subcontractor accounts and monitor on-site costs. Work closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage budgets and cash flow forecasts. Support the production of cost/value reconciliations and variation tracking. Contribute to accurate record-keeping and reporting for project progress and commercial performance. Attend site and client meetings as required, developing your understanding of contract management and construction delivery. A degree (or working towards) in Quantity Surveying or a construction-related discipline. Some experience in a similar role is preferred, ideally with a main contractor (placement years welcome).
